Alms Society was born from a God-given gift for event planning and a deep, soul-fulfilling desire to serve people in need. Founder Jazmin Rodriguez, saw that the power of a curated, intimate gathering could do more than entertain, it could transform lives and strengthen communities.

Fundación Escuelita Rayo de Sol is a school rooted in hope, nestled in the heart of the Dominican Republic. Its name means "Little School Ray of Sunshine,” and that is exactly what it is for the children it serves. This school is dedicated to providing access to education for children who need it most, offering them the foundation to grow, dream, and thrive.
Rooted in Purpose was created to shine a light on this incredible school and the students whose futures depend on the generosity of a community willing to show up for them. Every ticket purchased, every seed sown, and every raffle ticket bought this afternoon goes toward ensuring that the light of Escuelita Rayo de Sol continues to shine.
This event is proudly presented by ALMS Society Events in partnership with Miles That Matter and Corazones de Servicio, three organizations united by one belief: that every child deserves a chance.
